About Island Counseling Services
My name is Kate Keelty, and I am a Licensed Mental Health counselor specializing in work with adults. In my previous counseling roles I have served both individuals and families, and my intention has been to partner with clients to develop practical strategies to manage life’s challenges.
Given my additional work as a Speech-Language Pathologist in medical settings, I have a unique appreciation for how health concerns and life transitions can impact an individual’s overall wellness. I believe that in the context of an honest and genuine therapeutic relationship, individuals can leverage their own strengths to reach their goals.
